guided by science and safety

At Wilder Minds Psychology, we believe healing happens when the mind, body, and spirit are reconnected in safety. Grounded in science and guided by the wisdom of the nervous system, this is a space where science and soul meet. Together, we move from survival to self-trust, from fragmentation to wholeness—nurturing the mind’s capacity to grow wilder: more open, resilient, and connected.

disclaimer: sessions may or may not include a mix of laughter, tears, cussing and occasional dark humour.

Most of my clients describe living in a never-ending state of “meh.” Motivation sits somewhere between I’m fine and I know life could be better, but where do I even start?

You’re not fazed by my tattoos, occasional swearing, or interest in spirituality — you’re just ready for some real, deep work.

Our sessions are a space for existential exploration and nervous-system repair, with you firmly in the driver’s seat (hopefully with a GPS this time).

My holistic, trauma-informed approach looks at where you’ve been and where you want to go — helping you build a future you actually want to wake up to.

Whether you identify as a perfectionist, overthinker, or people-pleaser, we’ll work on:

  • Quieting intrusive thoughts

  • Releasing perfectionism and impossible standards

  • Building self-worth that’s actually your own

  • Loosening that white-knuckle grip on control

  • Letting go of anxiety so you can breathe again

  • Creating safety in your body so it can finally exhale

You can call it trauma, anxiety, burnout, or depression — but beneath all that is usually a bigger question:
Does your life feel meaningful, purposeful, and like your own?

Soul-led Healing

(with a bit of woo-woo shit)

You don’t have to stay in survival mode.

Exhaustion, brain fog, anxiety, pain—or maybe you’re more familiar with numbness? I get that. When you’ve been through a lot, it can show up in all kinds of ways, sometimes all at once. Trauma and anxiety don’t stay in one part of life—they spill into everything.

At Wilder Minds Psychology, my job isn’t to “fix” you—you aren’t broken, even if it sometimes feels that way. I’ll meet you where you are with no expectations, no judgment. Just a space to be real about what you’re going through.

We’ve all been shaped by our own unique histories—family, culture, experiences—and many of us have learned to minimize them. Like unless it was some big, dramatic event, it “shouldn’t” have been that bad. But here’s the truth: trauma isn’t defined by what happened; it’s defined by how your body and mind experienced it.

The nervous system remembers what you’ve been through. It holds the tension, the fear, the vigilance—still trying to protect you. But that weight you’ve been carrying? It isn’t yours to hold forever. Healing happens when we create safety in the body, space in the mind, and connection to the self.

Life doesn’t have to feel this hard all the time. You don’t have to stay in survival mode. And you don’t have to do it alone.

TL;DR:
You don’t have to stay in survival mode. At Wilder Minds Psychology, I help you process trauma, reconnect mind and body, and move toward self-trust, resilience, and wholeness. Healing isn’t about being “fixed”—it’s about supporting your nervous system, honoring your experiences, and reclaiming the capacity to feel open, grounded, and alive.
